Pro Metal of NY, a sheet metal products provider for the HVAC industry, has purchased an industrial property in Freeport for $1.63 million.

The company bought an 8,538-square-foot industrial building on .18 acres at 16 Filmore Place.

Founded in Brooklyn in 2000, family-owned Pro Metal fabricates a wide variety of sheet metal ducts and related products used in heating and cooling systems by residential and commercial contractors.

Pro Metal will be relocating to the Freeport property from Hempstead.
